We’re a family of five, brimful of the sacred ordinary.
Vance is a professor at UF, our own personal mad scientist, plant ID guru, and a non-vocational elder at the little local church we love. Despite his battles with mysterious and ever-shifting chronic illness, he is the steady around here.
Terri is resident teacher at our family’s homeschool. She is a writer, a worship leader, and a perpetually-late chauffeur. If she’s not biting off more than she can chew, she has a nose in a book somewhere.
We bring our own menagerie of chaos with us in the form of 3 wonderful kids. They love books, friends, games, the beach (we are a FL family, after all), and eating us out of house and home. They are growing fast, and we are just doing our best to embrace every moment as it comes.
